The Answer

Baseness is the password,
Nobleness the epitaph.
See, in the gilded sky,
Clouds outlined by those who died.
The Ice Age is over,
Why are icicles all over?
We have found The Cape of Good Hope,
Why still compete in the Dead Sea?
I came to this world,
Only with paper, rope and a shadow.
To proclaim before the trial,
The voices of the judged:
I tell you, world,
I-do-not-believe!
If a thousand challengers lie under your feet,
The one thousand and one let me be.
I do not believe that sky is blue;
I do not believe in echoes of thunder;
I do not believe that dreams are fake;
I do not believe in dying without revenge.
If the sea shall burst its banks,
Pour all the grievances into my heart;
If the land shall rise,
Choose a new summit to survive.
A new turn and sparkling stars,
Embroidering a sky with nothing to hide.
They are five thousand years’ pictogram,
Future generations’ staring eyes.
